Overview:
The Vice President plays an integral role towards all facets of inbound and outbound operations for the ecommerce fulfillment center. The VP will also work in collaboration with Finance, Human Resources, Systems, and our business partners.

Essential Functions
  • Provide leadership and support to facility executive team and ensure D2C policies and procedures are communicated and executed consistently
  • Responsibility for the financial, operational, safety and service performance of the fulfillment center.
  • Partner with selling divisions and the systems group to provide leadership with the design and implementation of the new facility. Responsibilities include time and action calendar development, hiring strategy, budget development and overall project management.
  • Serve as the liaison with Macys.com and Bloomingdales direct on building related issues
  • Maintain customer service compliance standards (FTC shipping requirements)
  • Maintain OSHA compliance and excellent safety processes
  • Develop a recognition program that creates an employees ‘count’ mentality
  • Manage staff planning and labor initiatives towards fully utilizing associates’ capabilities, while maintaining fair and equitable employment practices
  • Support ongoing corporate programs and initiatives, (Six Sigma, Partners In Time, Succession Planning, Etc.)


Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferred
  • In depth knowledge of the Ecommerce and fulfillment operations
  • Exposure to various logistics operations, with an emphasis on customer service
  • Previous accountability for an entire distribution facility (fulfillment preferred)
  • Familiarity with Manhattan WM Systems
  • Excellent communication (oral, written and listening) and project management skills
  • Ability to make effective decisions and manage several processes in a fast paced environment.
  • High-level understanding of Six Sigma process improvement methodology
  • Proven leadership and business acumen
  • Executes following a “Teams Win” philosophy
