Merchandising Stock Team Member Part Time: Bloomingdale's Chevy Chase, MD - Full-time / Part-time

Overview:

Bloomingdale's is seeking a highly creative individual to join our Product Merchandising Team.
As a Merchandiser, you help create the customer's first impression of Bloomingdale's.

Key Accountabilities:

• Producing novel and unique concepts for merchandise presentation
• Producing quality work in a consistent, timely and organized manner
• Completing projects on time and being responsible for the project from start to finish
• Understanding and upholding Bloomingdale's high standards of merchandise presentation as they apply to placing product on the selling floor
• Be familiar with all markdowns, special promotions, clearance and advertised merchandise

Skills Summary:

• Creative and have strong experience in retail merchandising in ready to wear or home products
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
• Ability to work as part of a team, and take initiative independent of direct supervision; self starter
• Previous retail or related design or fashion experience preferred
• Flexibility with schedule, dependent upon business needs
