Position Summary:

Responsible for gathering and analyzing Data, along with having a basic understanding of current Business Processes across the Enterprise. Work with Produce Procurement to improve Product Quality by analyzing objective Data gathered by DC and Field QA's and determines preferred shippers where appropriate. Must be capable of presenting information in a concise format to the Wesco Buyers and Suppliers. Act as a role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, Integrity, diversity, inclusion and Safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct analysis and modify Data needed to satisfy Project initiatives through the use of standard Tools such as Business Objects and Microsoft Products.
• Develop reports and Processes to conduct Data analysis and provide Business recommendations to Procurement team
• Command a deep understanding of Systems and Data related to Produce Quality and Quality Assurance operational metrics.
• Apply understanding of Produce Inspection Process to Data analysis
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of DC and Field Quality Assurance function, Coordinate Reporting and audit Processes, and Develop Programs for ongoing coaching and Training reinforcement.
• InCorporate Product Knowledge and seasonal growing parameters into analysis
• Support presenting and selling recommendations to Kroger Produce Procurement and Third Party shippers/growers.
• Perform other special Projects or assignments as required.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in Produce
• Demonstrated experience in Data-driven decision making
• Demonstrated competency in combining work Processes and Systems to sustain high levels of Performance.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, balanced by the ability to apply common sense.
• Collaborate and contribute to a team of highly driven and talented individuals and collectively crEate actionable Solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Strong Microsoft office Suite experience
• Business Objects and/or other Reporting package experience
• Ability to travel independently

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Experience as a Data Analyst or related Business experience.
• Produce Procurement experience
• Experience with Kroger Data Systems and related Business Processes.
• Produce Quality Assurance experience
• Bachelor's degree or work related experience.
• Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma Implementations and Project management.
• Facilitation and Training experience.
