About this job
We are looking for a high-level Journeyman Diesel Technician on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. This individual will be working at an Independent diesel shop focusing on a large customer that needs service in the afternoons and overnight. These positions involve mechanic/preventative maintenance work on a variety of medium- to heavy-duty diesel trucks, including semi-trucks and trailers.
Pay is very competitive and this position includes opportunities to run a service truck and to establish a niche at a growing company.
All candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience (diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience)
- Must be able to use Electronic Engine Diagnostic Equipment
- Must own large set of tools (hand and air) and be invested in this type of position.
- Must be able to drive a Service Truck and be eligible for a CDL.
Additional Job Info: Qualified candidates must be willing to submit to a drug test, background check and/or physical.
