Senior Clinical Outsourcing Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:
This position will report into the Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing. This position will undertake activities to provide specialized support and assistance to Clinical Operations, Contracts, Finance and other departments as required, in the administration and negotiation of clinical study budgets. Must possess strong data analysis skills and will be responsible for industry assessments, financial analysis, support for contract/budget negotiations, and contribute to cost modeling.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Clinical Operations and Finance team to support the clinical studies
• Manage and negotiate day to day financial activities regarding site budgets for all phases of clinical studies
• Manage clinical sites/CRO relationships in conjunction with Clinical Operations
• Coordinate communication from and acts as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders on the site budget
• Develop patient budget templates for new studies and study amendments
• Develop and maintain a system for tracking progress and status of clinical budget/contracts
• Provide cost benchmarking for clinical outsourcing activities using industry based tools or customized analysis.
• Support Clinical Outsourcing with data collection and analysis.
• Assist with the tracking of negotiated savings achieved.

Requirements

• 4 Year college degree with BA/BS in Life Science, Finance, Business Strategy, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, communication, written, and verbal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Contract, Finance, Legal and Business Acumen.
• Robust knowledge of Clinical Trial Process and the various key players involved in running clinical trials.
• Ability to manage change successfully and identify process improvements.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data.

• Ability to effectively negotiate site budgets.
• Successful track record with metrics, project delivery, collaboration and relationship management desired.
• Proactive, self starter - take initiative beyond minimal expectations.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple, complex projects at rapid pace.
