Mechanical Assembler

We are looking for 1st and 2nd shift Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing environment. This position is with an awesome company that has locations and partners all across the world. Duties include:

-Prepare parts for assembly; includes organizing inventory, gathering, packaging, etc.
-Mechanical assembly
-Assist in the processing of parts.
-Request appropriate resources to complete work assignments in a timely manner.
-Verify and get parts orders verified when necessary.

This is a great opportunity at a company adding to their assembly and production department. Performance-based raises are available as well for all of these long-term opportunities.

Candidates will be assembling small- to medium-sized metal parts off of process sheets, using hand tools and drills as well as screw guns, rivet guns and basic measurement equipment.

Entry-level candidates will be considered looking to get into a manufacturing environment.

The qualifications that we are looking for are:
*Fast paced
*Quick learner
*Team player
*Mechanically-inclined

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
-6 months of manufacturing experience OR basic hand tools experience (wood working, auto repair, mechanical assembly).
-Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
-Must be able to read and interpret work instructions
-Must be available for mandatory overtime, which can be 1-2 Saturdays a month. (Summer is their busiest time of year)
-Must submit to background check
-Must be willing to work well in a team environment
-Must be able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
