Sr. Database Developer (Long-Term Contract) (17014169) Description
The Database Developer is responsible for implementing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations for internal and external products.

Responsibilities:

In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Designing and developing data integration using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL, and Stored Procedures
•Performing code reviews, analyzing execution plans, and refactoring inefficient code
•Performing physical data modelling for enhancements in ODS and Data Marts.
•Following data standards, resolving data issues, completing unit testing and system documentation for ETL processes
•Collaborating with business analysts and other team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements
•Collaborating with IT operations and testing organizations to ensure timely releases of projects and make sure database environments are sustainable
•Collaborating with IT operations to perform root cause analysis
•Consulting with business analysts to determine logical design for new business solutions
•Using customer requirements to improve functionality (speed, performance/usability)
•Troubleshooting customer issues and correcting database defects
•Responding quickly to bug fixes and enhancement requests
•Providing responsive production support for existing ETLs and processes

The ideal candidate will:
•Have five (5) or more years of IT industry experience, including three (3) or more years of experience with SQL programming
•Have prior experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSMS
•Have experience with EDW physical data modelling and best practices
•Have experience designing and developing in Hybrid Data Warehouse environment
•Have prior experience with Master Data Management
•Be experienced with writing stored procedures
•Have knowledge of database functions, views, and administration
•Be able to manage workload and prioritize appropriately
•Be quality-oriented and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
•Effectively interact with multiple IT teams and business partners, both formally and informally
•Preferably have prior experience working with an Agile development team
•Preferably have data warehouse development experience and knowledge of Oracle
•Have a customer-focused attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
•Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
•Have the ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions
•Make timely and sound decisions
•Be able to multi-task in an effective manner and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
•Work well in either a team setting or independently, producing required results without close supervision
•Have the ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
•Be self-motivated, requiring limited supervision or direction
•Manage information and data in a confidential and professional manner
•Have a B.A./B.S. in MIS or Computer Science, or an equivalent in education and experience
