Requirements
The Driver provides transportation for residents to various appointments, shopping trips and other locations as directed. The Driver must have previous experience in passenger transportation or commercial driving. The driver is responsible for coordinating appointment schedules for medical appointments and transportation for community activities. Other duties included, but not limited to:
- Assisting residents on/off the van/bus or in/out of the car along with their belongings.
- Ensure all residents using wheelchairs are properly secured in the van or bus.
- Complies with state regulations regarding passenger and equipment safety.
- Responsible for maintaining the appearance and operating condition of all residence vehicles
