Position Summary:

The transportation supervisor will be responsible for managing the activities of the Cumberland Petroleum Driver Group.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote / developing a Great Place to Work Environment.
2. Administer all company policies and procedures relating to all functions.
3. Supervise all activities within the Cumberland Petroleum Driver Group but not limited to setting
efficiency’s.
4. Manage the planning and development of manpower through efficient schedules for the driver group.
5. Enforce compliance with all Federal DOT and State Regulations’ but not limited to Cumberland polices &
procedures ensuring safe deliveries.
6. Manage good working relationships with peers, drivers, customers & overall admin personnel but not
limited to union / non-union relations.
7. Control the company’s fuel delivery expenses / budget expense.
8. Conduct timely recording and investigations of all incidents.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Petroleum Operations Manager


Working Relationships:

Cumberland retail, Petroleum Operations, Fleet Services, Fleet Admin & Logistics Group.

Requirements

Job Requirements
Minimum Education: High School
Preferred Education: Associate and or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Preferred.

Minimum Experience: Two to Three years of Petroleum Transportation/ Operations Management in the supply chain.
Preferred Experience: Three to five years of Petroleum Transportation / Operations Management in the supply chain

Licenses/Certifications: Class A CDL haz mat endorsement preferred & Valid Driver's License
Soft Skills: Microsoft office, word, power point, excel, HR Systems (payroll processing)
