If you like melding working relationships into opportunities to create projects to increase companywide reaction speed, this could be the right opportunity for you!  This role requires intense curiosity, a willingness to ask questions and learn the business inside and out, to provide advice to executives and others on inventory system options and best practices in a fast and ever-changing environment.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or similar discipline and two plus years of experienceExcellent computer skills, including experience with Oracle ERPCertified Oracle Agile 9.3.3 Administrator desired SKILLSLight programming (Sql) experience preferred but not a requirementAbility to write reports, procedure manuals and presentationsResponds to questions from executives, management and customers in a professional mannerExperience within inventory systems. Oracle and Agile experience preferredMicrosoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel and Power PointUnderstanding of inventory movement and the related logic REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesExperience with Oracle 12 and Agile PLM 9.3.3 highly preferredFamiliarity with Manhattan Scale WMS and/or Anaplan is desired but not requiredExperience implementing Oracle/ERP systems or participating in a full roll-out out of a technology/system is a plusAnalyzes current processes and procedures to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments.Support a wide variety of departments by being a subject matter expert on inventory movement and financial consequencesDrive systematic improvement in ERP systems around inventory management. Work with various departments to drive accurate, consistent, and streamlined inventory configuration.Manages the completion of projects that are broad in nature by following general guidelines and using creativity and resourcefulness to meet established goals.Recommends the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.Prepares and delivers the required training to facilitate changes in business policy, procedures, and system implementations.Evaluates performance against established metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality or efficiency for various business functions and unitsWorks under light supervision to accomplish objectivesMaintains and applies expert knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise and maintains a broad knowledge of practices and procedures of other departmentsAssists with inventory audits at manufacturing locations. Experience in best practices for audits as well as cycle countsCreates and Maintains Cycle Count programs in Oracle systemPerform Oracle Configuration Management duties including part number creation, changes, min-max, orgs and planner codesPerform PLM/PDM including part number setups, ECO changes and deviationsEvaluate inventory for possible disposal and obsolescence at end of life.
