Job Description:
- Candidates will be MIG welding and Stick Welding beams and angles for various customers
- Will be reading blueprints to fabricate beams
- Cleaning and prepping of steel using various tools: such as wire wheel machines
- Welding of mild grade steel
- Working in a job shop environment
- Will travel up to 2hrs either direction for customers
- Will be up to 20ft in the air for welding at client sites
- Will use forklift and overhead cranes to move steel onto trucks or move steel internally
- Company will get them forklift certified
Work Environment: - 1st shift 7a to 3p Mon-Fri
- 40hrs
- $15
- Will travel up to 2hrs either direction
- Job shop
- Must have own tools
Qualifications:
- Must have 1+yr of MIG welding experience
- Must be able to read off blueprints
- Must be willing to travel up to 2hrs for various jobs
- Must be willing to work heights up to 20ft
Performance Expectations:
- Candidates will be evaluated by their quality of welds and attendance. Attendance is most important to the managers
Interview Information:
- Basic weld test to see where they are at
Additional Compensation:
- 1.5x after 40hrs
