Specimen Processor Position Open on Day Shift 5am-4pm - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek has TWO Lab Assistant/Sample Handling openings for a world renown Contract Research Organization in Indianapolis. The primary role of candidates will be to receive in patient samples, process the samples by scanning the boxes of samples, unpacking them, scanning the samples into their internal system, organizing the samples correctly on where they need to go to a lab for testing or to storage, and moving them throughout the facility as needed.

Candidates must follow strict SOP's while handling the samples and documenting their work. This position is very fast paced, requires candidates to be on their feet a majority of day, work in 1-2 station areas, and document sample information in real time.

You must be able to commit to at least one of the Tuesday through Saturday shift:

• One position on 5am-2pm with 2-15 hours of OT typically

Pay starts at $13 per hour for everyone, and goes up to $13.50 once hired after the contract portion. Any promotions or pay increases after that are all merit based.

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor Degree (will consider Associate Degrees in a life science field) AND 6+ months of work experience
• Ideal work experience is from a fast paced environment (retail, food, warehouse, etc) that has metrics
• Ability and interest to work on your feet for the majority of the day and hit high activity numbers
