Forklift Driver

Forklift Operator– $12.00 – $14.00/HR

A Chattanooga based company is searching for a Forklift Operator who will have core responsibilities on the Logistics team in a fast-paced and critical position for incoming and outgoing deliveries for our customers. As the Forklift Operator , you will help support the unloading, checking-in, and distribution of freight, as well as load semi-truck trailers. A portion of this role will manage shipping pallet organization and ensure the highest quality pallets are used for shipments. This position does have room for fast growth and can evolve into assisting in other areas, including work with internal the Shipping and Receiving department. UPS, FedEx, and other private vendors are often onsite and the logistics team ensures on-time pick-up and an overall smooth operation. With the most advanced forklifts and pallet jacks equipment, we are looking for those with familiarity with shipping/loading related processes.

• Strong hand-eye coordination

• Forklift and loading/unloading experience

• Experience to reading bill of lading and other freight forms
