Mig Welder who can read Blueprints and Welding Symbols

I have a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned Welder with Strong Mig Welding and Blueprint reading abilities. If you are underemployed and not currently happy with your employer or if you are between jobs and feel you have the abilities to meet the following criteria then please apply.

My client is a custom manufacturer of specialized equipment that services a variety of industries. This employer has been in business for 60+ years and have been in their current location for the last 30+ years.

In order to be successful in this Mig Welding position, the ideal candidate will need to perform the following; perform sequence of operations for the erection and welding of standard and modified fabricated weldments from blueprints and sketches; perform grinding and filling work as required.

Previous experience that my client is seeking includes; at least 5 years of high level Mig Welding for custom equipment or machines; ability to read a blueprint (identify weld symbols and do some math pertaining to measurements); perform fabrication as needed.

Please note I have either 1st or 2nd Shift positions available. 1st Shift is Monday-Friday from 7:00-3:30 and 2nd Shift is Monday-Thursday from 3:30-2:00am. Please note 2nd shift will train on 1st shift for several months.
