Shift: 7 AM to 3:30PM

Pay: $16/hr

Contract to Hire (4 Months)

Job Description:

• Tends manual or semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, primers, and intermediates.
• Loads specified amounts of solid and liquid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks. Turns valves to feed liquid and solid materials through equipment units, or sets controls in specified sequence on control panel to start automatic feed.
• Monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from quality control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
• Draws samples of products for quality control analysis.
• Required to complete 3 batches per shift/6hrs
• Only changes to batches are the time it takes to mix
• PLC's disperse product/weight in lbs.
• Will be working in multiple areas, could be working in mixing/blending area or in cleaning
• Will be responsible for cleaning of tanks/kettles
• Time may be split 50/50 between mixing and cleaning
• Use of cleaning products to clean tanks
• With the use of a forklift, packages, palletizes, shrink-wraps and stages Sika product into a staging area or directly onto a truck for transportation to external warehouses.
• May be required to assemble valves
• Use of basic hand and power tools
• Responsible for conformance with all safety rules to maintain plant safety.
