Leads meetings independently with a wide range of physician and administrator stakeholders. The Strategy Office (SO) is an internal consulting group supporting strategic enterprise transformation initiatives across clinical, research and education pillars at the clinic. The Strategy office typically partners with enterprise functions and leadership to:

* Evolve our enterprise mission, goals and strategic direction

* Define enterprise growth strategy across our organizational pillars

* Perform strategic planning for our institutes and regions

* Execute M&A and partnering opportunities across our growth areas and target markets

* Implement post-deal network integration and alignment

Grow and Learn with the Strategy Office: Associate Strategy Partner (ASP) Role

Cleveland Clinic Strategy Office is looking for talented professionals to join our team. The ASP role offers the opportunity to actively contribute and grow with a team that is at the forefront of ongoing healthcare transformation both in the US and in International markets.

In the ASP role, you will be:

* Working with senior leaders across the clinical and corporate services areas to define their strategic agenda and solve complex strategy and operations problems.

* Developing data driven insights from analysis of internal and external data sources to support strategic decision making.

* Validating market and business assumptions for key investment and partnership decisions.

* Gathering and synthesizing market intelligence on relevant trends in the market, such as competitor trends (hospital systems, physician groups etc.), payor trends, regulatory trends, emerging technology trends.

* Leading innovation and transformation across clinical and corporate services areas working with leadership to create differentiated patient experience and operating models.

ASP Role Requirements:

We have multiple ASP role openings aligned to different skill and work experience levels. Core skills and experience required for ASP roles are as follows:

* Healthcare domain experience that include working with provider and payer organizations on internal or external consulting type functions.

* Effective oral communication skills demonstrated through experience facilitating meetings and workshops, interviewing stakeholders, active listening, requirements gathering, and delivering presentations.

* Persuasive written communication skills demonstrated through experience developing written documents and presentations for senior leaders, developing storyboards and logic flow using structuring approach such as Minto's pyramid principle.

* Performing compelling analysis and developing recommendations demonstrated through experience defining problem structure, generating hypothesis, defining analytical approach, conducting data gathering and analysis and developing actionable recommendations.

* Working knowledge of various healthcare domain internal and external data sources demonstrated through experience working with hospital revenue cycle reports, Truven analytics data sources, Advisory Board data sources, state-level hospital and payer data sources.

* Experience working with and managing stakeholders in a complex matrixed organization

* Demonstrated team leadership and project management competency in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

* Synthesize learnings from project work and contribute to overall expertise and toolkit development in relevant domain areas.

* Work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders and earn respect through effective emotional intelligence skills.

Education and Work Experience:

Multiple appropriate roles available that can be aligned with level of experience. Minimum requirements are as follows:

* Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Health Care Management, Engineering or related analytical fields. Master's degree preferred for senior ASP roles

* Experience ranging from 2-10 years in healthcare or related sectors. Work experience can include working in internal consulting functions at providers and payers or healthcare focused groups at management consulting organizations.

* History of achievement and ability to influence change required.
