JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager Bill & Email Marketing will execute the strategy, implementation and analysis of marketing initiatives targeted to existing customers across multiple tactics.
In this role you will help to develop bill marketing, email, and other programs designed primarily to up-sell add-on products to existing customers. You will be responsible for the flawless execution of campaigns from inception through post campaign analysis.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, schedule, and implement campaigns through a variety of tactics, including inserts, ad pages, and email.
Manage the execution of customer email programs, with responsibility for vendor relationships, scheduling, and reporting, working closely with internal creative and database teams.
Write list instructions and approve database output for email, bill marketing, and direct mail programs.
Partner with internal and external teams to determine targets and schedules; strategize and implement tests of audience, offer, creative formats and messaging to gain insights for future campaigns.
Work closely with Customer Engagement Marketing team to schedule and execute engagement programs through bill marketing and email tactics.
Analyze campaign performance across key metrics, develop meaningful reporting, and forecast performance.
Manage customer engagement expense budget.
Identify opportunities to improve results, enhance contact strategy or extend reach.
Meet or outperform defined response targets for customer upgrade programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Experience with direct marketing tactics, especially bill marketing and email
Experience with list segmentation and matrices in a direct marketing environment
Familiar with working on a cross-functional team
Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically
Highly developed capacity for teamwork and a strong focus on the customer
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and develop recommendations autonomously
Ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a fast paced environment
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise
Ability to work under pressure

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience
- Direct marketing experience to include: 8+ years
- Marketing management: 6+ years
- Project Management: 6+ years
- Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
