SUMMARY

Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in manufacturing facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment systems at a journey level.

* Performs diagnosis and maintenance work on sheet metal fabrication equipment.

* Conduct functional tests of electrical systems.

* Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics

* Maintains operating condition of buildings and equipment, and completes repairs.

* Accurate completion of Preventative Maintenance records.

* Report all problems that prevent you from completing your assigned task to your Team Leader or Supervisor.

* Work in cooperation with other team members, performs work to companies policies, procedures and standards.

* Handle product with high level of care to prevent product damage and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

* Five or more years related industrial experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* College or technical school training in an electrical or mechanical related field.

* Experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment (Press Brakes, Laser cutting systems, punches, welding equipment, and/or paint systems).

* Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing skills as related to a manufacturing facility.

* Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.

* Ability to read and interpret blue prints, and electrical schematics.

* Ability to troubleshoot PLC controllers and VFD's.

* Ability to operate motorized lifts and forklifts.

* Demonstrated experience using various small and pneumatic hand tools.
