About this job
Provides comprehensive therapeutic, diagnostic, and rehabilitative respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients upon the request of a physician and under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Director. Possesses knowledge and skills in all areas of respiratory care. Is also required to assist in new employee orientation. Is able to provide clinical and troubleshooting expertise, serving as Preceptor when assigned by the Respiratory Care Director. Education:
Graduate of an approved and accredited school of Respirtory Care
Post graduate courses in Respiratory Care are preferred.
Experience:
Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
Required license/Certification:
Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current CPR for HealthCare provider is required.
Licensed to practice Respiratory Care in the Commonwealth of PA
Membership in the AARC is preferred
Graduate of an approved and accredited school of Respirtory Care
