Machine Operator

Cambria is currently seeking to fill several Machine Operator positions at our Le Sueur Plant. Work only 14 days a month - 12 hour shifts, with a 3 day weekend off every other weekend.

Entry-level pay structure:

Day Shift: Over $18/hr premium rate. The effective pay rate per work hours is $1,520.00 divided by 84 hours worked

Night Shift: Over $19/hr premium rate. The effective pay rate per work hours is $1,604.00 divided by 84 hours worked

Responsibilities:

-Operate and monitor the production area to ensure machines are running correctly

-Ensure that slabs are correctly cured-Identify all slabs and enter proper information into the computer to create ERP labels

-Complete a shift log on slabs produced

-Apply ERP labels to slabs prior to moving them down the cooling tunnel

-Perform quality checks on slabs and document all quality checks properly

-Keep work area clean and orderly, perform preventative maintenance on machinery

-Keep the Production Lead, the Production Supervisor and the other support groups up to date on important information, processes, issues and concerns

-Perform other duties as assigned by management

Desired Skills & Experience:

-High School diploma or equivalent-Manufacturing experience preferred

-Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation

-Basic computer skills

-Ability to stand and perform hands-on work for the length of a 12 hour shift-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at once

-Ability to work a revolving 24/7 work week, including every other weekend (receive double-time pay on Sundays after probationary period)
