Sephora's Loss Prevention Agents protect the assets of the store against theft and work with management to maintain operational controls to reduce shortage.
Loss PreventionConduct surveillances on the sales floor as well as utilizing the CCTV system to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter individual(s) from committing external theft(s).Identify and report to the District Loss Prevention Manager potential internal theft opportunities.Adhere to all laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure and the preservation of evidence.Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations and audits.Testify in court on behalf of the company, in any case, criminal or civil, to which the Agent is summoned.Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all store personnel as well as local law enforcement agencies, mall security and other retailers.
OperationsConduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, and communicate findings to the store Leadership team.Assist store leadership with inventory preparation and process.Partner with the store and District Loss Prevention Manager in the development and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.
TrainingHeighten and maintain store Loss Prevention awareness by attending and participating in store cast meetings, new hire trainings and continuous cast training.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, skills requiredStrong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills.Basic computer skills required.
Experience Desired1 year of assets protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
Minimum Education LevelHigh School graduate or equivalent
Requirements of the JobAble to work flexible hours including days and nights, weekends and holidays appropriate to the business needs.In multi-store areas, the Loss Prevention Agent must be available for assignment to all stores in the area.Consistent and reliable attendance.Must be able to stand/walk sales floor for entire shift.Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements (as required by state or local jurisdiction).Able to work in a fragrance filled environment.Conform to Sephora dress code
