Job Summary:

The Village Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for the ensuring the cleanliness of each resort base village area.  The essential job function is to assist in the cleaning and inspection of facilities to ensure the cleanliness and safety of property, guests, and personnel. 

Duties/Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and efficiently, alerting necessary personnel.
• Maintain daily records and logs of Custodial Department incidences and activities; file required reports.
• Assist in managing contract labor partner relationships.
• Clean designated areas throughout each base village area as directed by Supervisor; inspect the work of Village Custodian Team and contract laborers each day.
• Follow appropriate cleaning and safety guidelines set and provided by Supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to deal with guests and personnel in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Spanish fluency preferred.
• Ability to be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., carry heavy objects, bend, squat, etc.
• Must be in good physical condition.
