About this job
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for manufacturing
- Develop Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plans to determine all potential areas for product failure, and implement quality systems and procedures accordingly
- Use problem solving techniques like 8-D and 5-Why to determine the root cause of quality issues
- Regular customer engagement
- Maintain all associated quality documentation and record keeping
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related Technical field
- Relative experience as a Quality Engineer performing APQP and FMEA activities
- Automotive industry experience
- Strong communication skills - preferably experience interacting with a customer
