Duties and Responsibilities
- Review menus prior to preparation of food
- Assure that all food procedures are followed
- Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
- Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
- Prepare and serve meals
- Cook must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of food experience in a supervisory capacity at a hospital, nursing home facility, to other related medical facility preferred.
- Experience with quantity food preparation
- Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
- Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
