The Special Response Officer is a unique position which requires an individual with a positive demeanor, the flexibility to perform on an on-call basis and the ability to maintain a high level of performance across multiple site locations. The Special Response Officer position is created as a talent pool from which future supervisors and managers are pulled. As a result, Special Response Officers must have the ability to fill in for a wide range of both security officer and security supervisor functions with little to no notice.

As a result, Special Response Officers must have the ability to fill in for a wide range of both security officer and security supervisor functions with little to no notice.
The typical duties of a Special Response Officer may include:
- Filling in for open posts or late call offs
- Filling vacancies caused by vacations, sick days, etc.
- Conducting site and post training as directed by the Account Manager
- Completing inspections and on-the-spot corrections of security officers
- Assisting Account Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure proper supervision of all sites
- Implementing and overseeing safety program
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year Law Enforcement, Military, Correctional or Security officer experience required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Demonstrate a stable work history
- Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
