Job Description
Responsibilities:
The PDI Technician is responsible for the final check in the preparation process prior to the customer arriving for collection or the vehicle being delivered to the customer.
* Preparing Cars and carrying out PDI checks to ensure the vehicles are delivered to the customer to the highest possible standard
* Communicating with the Sales Team or transport company
* Completion of the pre-delivery inspection
* Light automotive maintenance; carry out minor rectification and snagging repairs; able to install accessories on vehicles
* Carry out minor adjustments ensuring the delivery experience meets customers' expectation
Qualifications:
* Prior automotive repair experience preferred
* ASE and manufacturer certification, desired
* Minimum six (6) months experience in similar capacity or equivalent position
* Previous experience with automotive quality control, estimating and vehicle assessor duties preferred.
* A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
* Strong communication skills
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
Qualifications:
* Prior automotive repair experience preferred
* ASE and manufacturer certification, desired
* A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
* Strong communication skills
* Be at least 18 years of age
* Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
