Restaurant General Manager - Full-time / Part-time

A local fast-food chain with over 20 years presence in Albuquerque is hiring for multiple openings for General Managers.  If you have experience in the restaurant industry and have natural leadership skills then this might be the job for you!

Job Duties:

• MUST have a clear understanding AND experience in all of the restaurant positions below:
  • Cashier
  • Lead cashier
  • Front of house supervision
  • Prep cook
  • Lead cook
  • Back of house supervision
  • Shift management
• Responsible for training of all new employees, hiring and terminating
• Complete all daily paperwork, payroll, inventory, etc.
• Maintain and verify food and labor costs within the restaurant
• Responsible for implementing new marketing strategies and techniques
• Ensure Health Department codes and company safety policies are enforced and followed by all staff members
• Review and update information in the MIS tool daily
• Lead by example

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of 2-3 years’ supervisory experience working in a variety of restaurant industry positions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality
• Flexibility to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for all staff members and carry out all instructions for the restaurant to completion

Pay for this position starts at about $30,000-$34,000 with an increase in salary after evaluation and bonuses that will increase to $45,000-$60,000.
