Job Overview:

The purpose of this role is to effectively coordinate and facilitate various training programs and tasks within the fulfillment center. These positions will report to Operations with dotted line responsibility to Human Resources. The selected Associate will revert to their previous Department and position at the end of the Peak Season. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Functions:

• Provide administrative support to the department Trainers

• Monitor, evaluate and record training activities for program effectiveness

• Coordinate on-going development and performance management activities

• Ability to operate and demonstrate various equipment and processes

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance

• All other training duties/tasks as assigned

• Monitor Seasonal Associate Productivity

 

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of instructional design and/or experience providing associate on-site training within an industrial or operations focused environment.

 

Communication Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with multiple business partners at all levels.

 

Mathematical Skills:

• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

 

Reasoning Ability:

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to make good decisions and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

 

Physical Demands:

• This position requires regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking.

• May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

• Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

                                                                                               

Other Skills:

• Ability to utilize retail/logistics business background to contribute to the education and development experience of executives and associates.

• Knowledge of PC programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Intranet and Internet.

• Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills.

• Capable of administration of multiple programs.

• Great at coordination of people and resources.

 

Work Hours:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
