About this job

  • Effectively communicate Five Guys goals to the team verbally and through shift rallies, emails, manager log, station assignment and the yellow pad.
  • Develop tools and systems to grow people and sales.
  • Secret Shopper program management for store ranking and crew.
  • Daily Steritech (Food Safety Audit) program management with goal of 97 or greater with no critical violations.   
  • Place all food and beverage orders.
  • Follow-up with vendors & bookkeeper to ensure credits are received.
  • Assist with writing schedules and post by Thursday each week.
  • Manage and schedule hourly labor to comply with company standards.
  • The following tasks are to be completed daily:  Prep to Par, Opening/Closing Checklists, Daily Pre-Shift Meetings, Station Assignment, Temperatures, Over/Short, Deep Clean Calendar, and Sales Calendar. 
  • Assist with the completion of weekly inventory accurately and consistently on Monday’s and the 1st day of each month.  Ability to pull CrunchTime actual/theoretical cost and recap the Director of Ops and Owner weekly. 
  • Be available and supportive of the company AND FGE District Manager(s). 
  • Demonstrated ability to write, deliver and follow up on crew development plans. 
  • Able to complete all prep tasks accurately and under the prep time standards chart.
