About this job
We have a 10-year-old son who is nonverbal due to autism, and he can go through a variety of mood swings on any given day. We think it has to do with his food sensitivities, and so we try to keep him on a strict diet. However, he tries to grab/find other foods that he shouldn't have on a regular basis. He has very good days where he can sit quietly and play, and on other days he can be hyper, restless, and loud. He does best when we are understanding about his needs and wants, but firm in our expectations.
