Job DescriptionDirect hire career opportunity for a Refrigeration Operator/Mechanic with competitive pay and benefits in Grand Forks, ND.Job Details:- This position is to maintain and operate all equipment, including air compressors, HVAC equipment, and the ammonia refrigeration system.- This is a Full Time Direct Hire career opportunity.- 40-60 hours per week.- Competitive salary - Starting pay rate is $20.70/hour.- 12 hour rotating shifts available: week 1: Mon, Thurs, Fri; week 2: Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.- The monthly schedule does not include rotating from nights to days.- Employees enjoy having a 3-day weekend every other week.- Overtime required occasionally (never over 12 hours in a day).- Employees will receive 8 hours of time and half overtime on their 48 hour week schedule.RequirementsJob Requirements:- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (heavy valves, motors, etc.)- Must be able to demonstrate manual and physical dexterity.- Must be able to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals in small areas.- Applicants must be available to work any shift (7am-7 pm or 7pm-7am).- Must be able to use a computer and successfully navigate through various applications.
