Job Description:

J.P. Morgan's Military Veteran Internship Program (U.S.) is a national initiative, supporting the transition of military personnel and veterans into the financial services and corporate sector. Military values complement J.P. Morgan's business principles - dedication, determination and service; the program allows interns to demonstrate these while cultivating new skills and gaining tangible experience and exposure to the industry. J.P. Morgan is committed to helping those who serve and the internship program is just one of the many ways we're achieving this.

During the 12-week internship, participants will join a specified group and work on projects supporting a business. In addition, they will be exposed to various areas of the bank and given the chance to build their network.

Participants will be able to:

* Gain firsthand experience and exposure to financial services careers

* Learn new technical skills and how to apply prior experience to a corporate environment

* Demonstrate their skills and abilities to hiring managers

* Expand their professional network

Program structure:

* 12-week internship

* Internships will be in select U.S. cities

* Organized orientation and training

* Networking and information sessions with senior leaders

* Business and peer mentoring

* Structured performance review

Basic eligibility criteria

At a minimum, all applicants must have:

* Target candidates, at a minimum, must have attained a BA/BS degree. Those who are joining the internship program directly from an undergraduate program must meet the academic requirement of a 3.2 GPA for program entry level roles

* Demonstrated top performance throughout military career

* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* Demonstrated interest in financial services and corporate workplace

* Aptitude to quickly grasp and perform quantitative and qualitative tasks

* Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

* Commitment to the full duration of the program: 12-week internship and training and development events

* Program timeline (please note that the below dates are subject to change)

* Interview and selection period: October 16, 2017-- December 22, 2017

* Internship start date: March 12, 2018
