POSITION DESCRIPTION

As the Director FCC Technology in the Refining PSL you will be responsible for this specific line of business within the Technology Business Unit. This includes C5-C6 isomerization and solid acid alkylation technologies. Your responsibilities include leading business development, implementing strategic growth plans, managing budget and financial results for the specific business line, including Licensing, Proprietary Equipment and Engineering services. We will look to you to establish the basic framework and alignments with other Technology PSL's, marketing, and the global sales organization, providing refining technology expertise, training, content for marketing, etc You will represent KBR at marketing events and as a spokeperson for the business line, as well as maintain relationships with key refining decision makers and executives. This assignment is responsible for all areas including business planning, quarterly plan execution, business forecasting, staff development, staff management and recruitment. The Director of FCC will work with other members of the Technology Leadership team to develop strategic growth plans and that will maximize the overall profitability of the Technology Business Unit. You will manage a staff of approximately 15 direct and indirect reports. You will be responsible for managing the P/L for the FCC Technology sub-PSLs, with growing current revenue 20 % annually. The position reports to the Vice President, Refining Technology.

* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred

* 15 yrs related refinery experience, 5 of which should be in a management assignment

* Fluid Catalytic Cracking experience required

* Isomerization and Alkylation experience highly desirable

* Proven Profit & Loss (P & L) experience selling/business development for technology, engineering services, equipment and/or automation, etc. required

* Experience specifying technical offerings and/or processing engineering services required

* Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills; written, verbal and presentation

* Seeking someone with experience and ability to manage a staff of 15 direct, indirect reports

* Seeking a candidate with international work background

* Must be willing and available to travel domestic and international; approximately 40-50% as needed

* Background check required for this assignment
