About this job
General:
This position is responsible for ensuring all boats and components meet all quality standards for required integrity of all Tracker boats by overseeing the daily performance of all associates in the _______________________ area.
Tools and Equipment:
Varies by department. Provide specific details per specified department
Duties:
1. Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to and all required personal protective equipment is worn by all subordinates.
2. Ensure quality standards are met on each operation performed or production part or boat produced or entering the department, making certain no imperfection is left uncorrected.
3. Ensure all required paperwork is correctly timely completed.
4. Use Hour by Hour and SQDC boards to monitor associates’ hours and eliminate all excess or needless overtime.
5. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping requirements in all areas.
6. Ensure all associates are productively busy during all work times.
7. Oversee the use, upkeep, return, and placement of all tools provided.
8. Oversee training of all new associates using the “Buddy system” and other training tools as necessary
9. Assist Supervisor to help develop all subordinates with timely use of personnel developmental tools such as training and performance feedback
10. Manage all materials and supplies to maximize use and reduce or eliminate waste of materials and supplies in all areas
11. Other duties as assigned
