Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Central Planner will generate the supply and demand plans for suppliers and distribution centers. Update and maintain planning reports, and provides analytic support to facilitate effective supply chain management decisions. Manages all planning system data inputs, and their sources, to ensure timely and accurate plan outputs.
  • Manages master data setup and configures system planning parameters through the front end or back end using SQL queries to reflect business rules and desired output; provides recommendations for improvements using system knowledge.
  • Manages the consumption of data feeds into planning system, identifies and performs auditing, editing, and exception management of the data as needed, and coordinates efficient integration across all data sources.
  • Executes daily supply plan from end to end to be presented to the Supply Planning team and the customer, and validates reasonableness of supply and demand plan outputs.
  • Provides root cause analysis, planning process performance analysis, and execution of issue resolution
  • Identify, test, and implement process improvements
  • Work with solution architect and technical resources to design and build additional planning capabilities
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and customer service as a remote HAVI representative based out of the corporate office of an Atlanta, GA customer.
  • Develops and strengthens business relationships with all departments and levels of our customer, their supply chain partners, and the HAVI Corporate Home Office.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • University Degree (or equivalent experience) in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, information systems, computer science, business, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Direct experience working in databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, deep understanding of the relational database structure, and creation of advanced SQL queries required.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and conflict management skills.
  • Self-starter and able to operate with minimal instruction or support.
  • Ability to process and action multiple, simultaneous issues; attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of DRP/MRP concepts, and supply chain operations
  • 2+ years’ experience with planning, forecasting, or supply chain operations preferred
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar analytics / reporting software preferred
  • System super user is preferred, with experience in system testing, implementations
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to influence others.
