About this job
Seed Technicians are involved in all facets of seed production within a location. Indoor seed processing and packaging activities may include receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling or warehousing seed. Outdoor activities may include planting, pollinating, note taking, data entry, hand harvest. May be responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas.
Positions may also include organizing, moving and placing seed into storage, maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing electronic inventory systems.
Activities may require bending and lifting, long periods of sitting or standing. Extended hours may be requested during the peak seasons.

Candidates need to be local to Stuttgart and close surrounding area
35-40 hours/week, but there could be extended hours
Must have reliable/dependable transportation
A lot of counting is required and must be able to distinguish between many different colors
