Job Responsibilities:
Promotes and complies with Air Liquide safety policies and operating procedures
Places safety above all else in the performance of assigned tasks and responsibilities
Completes all required training, qualifications and re-certifications
Reports safety issues to appropriate manager
Uses Company required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Complies with all facility and corporate policies/procedures
Maintains awareness of all federal, state and local regulations; stays in 100% compliance with regulations at all times; reports suspected regulatory violations/offenses to appropriate manager
Reports all accidents, possible injuries immediately to supervisor
Maintains highway delivery equipment per company and/or manufacturer guidelines to maximize equipment life cycle and minimize maintenance costs
Utilizes Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document all maintenance performed and as a maintenance scheduling tool
Assures CMMS contains most current data
Completes all maintenance according to associated job plan
Assists Maintenance managers in development of new job plans
Identifies potential improvements to existing job plans
Maintains integrity of all delivery equipment by not making any unauthorized alterations to original design of the equipment
Coordinates scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements with Depot management to assure timely performance of all maintenance tasks
Completes required records; submits reports as required by DOT and/or company policy
Periodically assists with office when requirements exist and schedule permits
Abides by terms of the Working Memorandum and Driver's Handbook
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED, preferred
2 years experience in highway equipment maintenance
CDL with all applicable Haz-Mat (Hazardous Materials) endorsements preferred
DOT Air Brake Certification
Knowledge of DOT maintenance and safety requirements
Ability to use a Computer Based Maintenance Management System
Product knowledge of cryogenic, compressed and specialty gases helpful but not necessary
Demonstrated ability to follow through on instruction, work with minimal supervision, use required computer/telephone applications
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to work extended hours when dictated by business needs
On call nights, weekends and holidays
Reasonable manual dexterity for pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls and valves
