Scale Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Scale Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate has previous experience, reliable transportation, and is hard-working. The responsibilities include:

• Operate truck scale
• Review/inspect material
• Contact operator and get breakdown
• Provide scale ticks
• POS system
• Must be proficient in math
• Organization and Consistent
• Must wear all required PPE at all times and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Must perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Must be honest and ethical and work in a cooperative spirit to comply with the law and company policies.

Location: Madison County, IL
Position type: Full Time, Long Term
Pay: $12/hr

Qualifications:

• Cordial and respectful.
• Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, company associates and the general public.
• Willingness to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to withstand extended periods of walking, standing, and light lifting.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Steel-toed boots.
