Aerotek is currently seeking qualified warehouse associates for opportunities in Kent, WA. This specific opportunity is paying $14/hr. with potential overtime opportunities! Details Include:

Job Description:

• Examining incoming and outgoing shipment contents and comparing with records, (such as manifests, invoices or orders) to verify accuracy
• Preparing documents, such as work orders, bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials
• Determining shipping methods for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates
• Recording shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability and damages and discrepancies for purposes of reporting, accounting and record keeping
• Contacting carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for the shipping and delivery of materials
• Conferring and corresponding with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages and non conformance to specifications
• Pulling orders from warehouse racks while maintaining an accurate on-hand inventory in the distribution center through cycle counts, physical inventories, and adjustments in the computer program
• Staging and palatalizing product in warehouse

Production:

Assemble boxes/packaging, prepare and assemble kits/packages, assist with packing, repacking, and rework of product, maintain production pace and record performance

Receiving:

Unload product by hand and/or by using a hand truck or pallet jack, inspect received goods, note and report any damage/discrepancies or short-ships to management, consolidate, stock, stage, and palletize product in warehouse, maintain a high degree of accuracy when transferring stock quantities

Shipping:

pick and package products from a pick list, pull orders from warehouse racks, maintain an accurate on-hand inventory in the distribution center through cycle counts, physical inventories, and adjustments, load product by hand and/or hand truck/pallet jack

Additional Information:

shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F additional OT

Drug and Background screening

Valid Drivers License

High School Diploma OR equivalent

Steel toed shoes/boots
