Medical Assistant

Must Haves:
Patient oriented/focused
Medical assistant degree or diploma program
patient care experience


Job Responsibilities:
provide patient care in outpatient physician practices
assist with other clinical and clerical duties
welcome patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone: answering or referring inquiries
complete disability and insurance forms
preparing laboratory specimens, performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing medical instruments; drawing blood, preparing patients for x rays
