Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 with an emphasis in driving retail sales/food quality in a Regional Operations Support role at Sheppard Pratt Health System located in Baltimore, MD.

The Regional Operations Support role is a full-time regular position supporting Sheppard Pratt Health System with the opportunity to assist and support hospital/medical center locations within the district. Travel to hospitals within the Greater Baltimore Area may be required for success in this role. Relocation is not offered and candidates must live in the area or be willing to relocate for the duration of the ROS position.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.

Key Duties

  • Implements & coordinates the culinary function.

  • Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.

  • Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.

  • Manages catering & retail areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
