Internal Posting Period:September 21, 2017 - September 27, 2017 The Physical Therapist II develops and delivers comprehensive physical therapy programs to patients requiring these services. Programs are directed at restoration of and quality of movement and consist primarily of therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy techniques, gait training and transfer/mobility training, with heat and cold, water, electricity, ultrasound, and other modalities as adjuncts to improving movement. Re-evaluates and adjusts these programs to meet patients changing needs. She/he delegates portions of treatment to aides and assistants, directing and supervising as indicated. Precepts students. Participates in performance improvement and department development activities. Interacts with the multidisciplinary patient care teams for coordinated patient care.
