Neurodiagnostic Tech Job Summary: This position involves the cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary to monitor and interpret data for physicians. The ability to set-up, prepare the patient, monitor actual study in various care settings, and complete post study work is essential. Performs all duties of Non Registered Neurodiagnostic Tech Ability to care for all age groups, and exercise judgment within the guidelines of the plan of care and departmental policy. Ability to use several pieces of equipment and perform multiple technical procedures. Able to make discriminating observations, technical and clinical, and follow-up with the appropriate leadership personnel (supervisor, nursing, physician). Participates education of junior staff. Participates in continuing education at work and continues career enhancement. Will acquire knowledge and skill to perform other procedures as needed by the department. Maintains and does minor equipment repairs and reports need for repair to vendor, biomed or IT&S and supervisor as appropriate.
