Laundry Attendant - Full-time / Part-time

* Perform all stages of linen processing.
* Retrieve dirty linens, normally unsorted, from housekeeping rooms.
* Sort and count articles to verify quantities on laundry lists.
* Separate linens by type (sheets, towels, blankets, etc.).
* Pre-treat stains.
* Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition articles for washing.
* Place dirty linens in washer and ensure proper setting for wash cycle.
* Mix dyes and bleaches according to formula; dye and bleach specified articles.
* Remove wet wash from washers and place in dryer at appropriate settings.
* Fold and stack clean, dry linens in designated place on linen carts.
* Remove and properly dispose of damaged fabrics.
* Comply with all safety and security policies.
* Clean equipment.
* Consistently practice and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Previous experience in a very physically demanding job.
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Experience and Qualifications (Preferred):

* Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
