Second Shift- 3pm to 11:30pm Monday-Friday

The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for issuing and caring for all tooling used in the compression of the product. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning, buffing/polishing, measuring and storing of all tooling
  • Records the number of hits produced on a set of tooling
  • Visually inspects each piece of tooling for defects
  • Operate a tablet press machine, if needed
  • Must be able to detool, clean and retool the tablet presses
