Customer Care Advocate

8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Up to $18.00/hr.

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities
The Customer Care Advocate represents our client as a customer-focused provider of a comprehensive line of products and services to our current and prospective customers. S/he assists customers and sales representatives with all aspects of the order fulfillment process, from order entry through invoicing and payment.

• Answers calls to the ring groups, including Customer Care and Operator
• Receives sales and sample orders via phone, fax, email and web
• Enters orders into the NetSuite computer system, provides order and shipment confirmations to customers and makes transportation arrangements for shipments
• Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services
• Creates and manages customer records in NetSuite
• Resolves errors such as erroneous or damaged shipments or pricing errors using tools such as return authorizations, re-shipments, merchandise pick-ups and credits
• Initiates documentation of complaints regarding products or services
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Three to five years’ customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
• High school diploma
• Knowledge of MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong Communications skills, both written and oral
• Customer Service Focus and Orientation
• Strong level of ownership and accountability
• Strong Team Player

Additional Education/Experience/Skills that are not required, but helpful, if a candidate possesses
• Healthcare and/or medical device/equipment experience, highly preferred
• Additional experience in Finance functions such as A/R, A/P, or sales/use tax, preferred
• Proficiency with NetSuite web-based ERP
