Manufacturing Associate: Post Processing Specialist

Our mission is to provide advanced laser applications for military, medical, telecommunication, electronics, avionics and other commercial markets.

Position Summary: Note, no prior manufacturing experience is required, but preferred.

The Post Processing Specialist is responsible for preparing material for use in the production processes processing equipment, post processing of parts produced by the production processes, packaging and labeling finished parts prior to shipment to customers. Responsibilities also include producing accurate production and quality records as required by the quality system. This position requires the ability to handle small and delicate parts without damaging them. Responsibilities can also include loading and unloading of production machines or other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Practice safe behavior all aspects of the production process.
  • Efficiently pre and post process production material according to LPT process descriptions and detailed training.
  • Follow quality system requirements in all aspects of the job.
  • Inspect parts for visual damage and follow procedures for correct handling.
  • Package and label parts as required for customer documentation for shipping to customer.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Work as a member of a team to ensure that production schedules are met.
  • Enter information into computer system as required.
  • Load and unload production machinery as assigned by Production Supervisor.
Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED

Shift: Days 8:00am to 4:30pm

Pay: $14/hr. to $15/hr. Depending on skills and experience
