PrideStaff is seeking a Transportation Coordinator for temporary to hire career opportunity. This person will work Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 p.m. As a Transportation Coordinator your Duties are to ensure all pertinent data relating to mileage, revenue, taxes, maintenance, payroll & permits are recorded and entered into the proper data base. From the data that is recorded, this person will be responsible for paying quarterly and annual taxes, create performance reports, assist in dispatching and pricing. Compensation: $15 per hour.

Job Duties:
  • Enter driver miles and fuel purchases in Pro-miles Software for IFTA taxes, PA, KY use tax, NY State HUT tax
  • PA 55 G/H, quarterly PA tax based on tonnage of hazard waste originating in Pennsylvania with ATS being transporter 1
  • AR Quarterly HW Report
  • MA Monthly EMOR report & Quarterly HW Report
  • RI Monthly EMOR Report
  • AR Annual Report
  • Order IFTA annual decals for all trucks
  • NY Certificate of Registration and decals for all trucks
  • Prepare the Heavy Hwy Use 2290 Report
  • Track active Hazardous Waste Transportation permits, and work with GM & Compliance Plus to submit appropriate and timely renewals for each state
  • Submit manual invoices for broker revenue, Track monthly revenue and determine accrual if necessary, Collect past due invoices if necessary
  • Analyze Open Purchase Orders to determine monthly Revenue/Transportation COGS accrual
  • Generate weekly driver scorecard reports. Via Teletrac
  • Track Petty Cash balances for drivers, submit Check/ACH requests for replenishments.
  • Verify Expense Reports for drivers, and submit to payroll
  • Enter driver mileage and hours for payroll and Submit to Transportation Supervisor & GM for approval
Job Requirments:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • College degree or bookkeeping experience is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including company database and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient and Knowledgeable in Excel, Access
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Positive attitude and detail oriented
