Job Description

At least 6 months of experience in a distribution center environment.

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

* Ability to read, write, do basic math, and comprehend instructions

* Communication - effective listening, speaking, and writing

* Solid attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem-solving skills while processing

* Team player and able to work well with others

* Identify product and match numbers

* Stand and lift continuously for long periods of time, may be up to 10 hours a day

* Lift up to 25 lbs. or more continuously during working hours; lifting may be above or below shoulder level

* Push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, stoop on a repetitive basis

* Utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding

* Work in varying temperatures

* Work in mezzanines and/or handling equipment up to 50 feet high

* Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job

* Constantly stand, handle, use repetitive motions (hand/wrist/fingers) and feel; frequently required to walk, reach, and lift; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.

* Constantly lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift 11 to 30 pounds; and lift rarely 31 to 60 pounds.

* Ability to hear and specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

* Manually loads, unloads, sorts, and stages product throughout the DC.

* Counts and distributes predetermined amounts of merchandise/items for the stores to specific destinations/locations.

* Processes rework and audit merchandise by counting, ticketing, packing and sorting.

* Operates Warehouse Management System, radio frequency scanners, and other equipment needed to perform job duties.

* Tracks information to facilitate flow of merchandise.

* Inspects merchandise items to ensure proper quality and brand specification.

* Utilizes math skills to verify quantities, make adjustments, fill out worksheets and completes order paperwork correctly.

* Maintains flexibility regarding job assignments - works with other departments and works scheduled overtime as needed.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to sanitation policies and procedures.
