Yard Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is now hiring for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Curtis Bay, MD

Job Description:

• Perform mechanical maintenance on large holding tanks. replace valves, misc
• Welding repairs, water testing, hydro static test heating coils.
• Will also be delivering tanks to customer in the area. will need to perform welding when needed, stick.
• Will make customer repairs on site to customers who can't have their tanks taken away from facility.
• Rental inspections, minor welding repairs, replacing/repairing tarps, repair/replace Door gaskets, greasing fasteners/gaskets
• Set up Plastic Tank Berms repairs include spot cleaning/patching, and using heat gun to melt patches-1015 ft.
• Replace pressure gauges/valves/gaskets on bag filters, media vessels; interior lining inspections, prep/repair/recoat epoxy lining, hydrostatic testing
• Use hydrostatic hi-pressure pump and pressure test hoses/stencil with new test date
• Occasional minor repairs on truck fleet as needed
  

The ideal candidate:

• Must have experience performing mechanical maintenance on heavy equipment
• Preferably will have welding experience
• Must be willing to work overtime
